Tonight's Prayer

I think I need to start audio recording Harrison's prayers...tonight was another good one.

God,

Thank you for your Blessings.

Thank you for the paint, walls, dogs, flowers, beds, people, planets, astronauts, grass, trees, birds, butterflies, and Target.

God, I mean the people Target store.

Thank you,

Amen

Harrison's Prayer

This was Harrison's prayer on Friday night....guess he has been picking up on a few things I have been praying for :)

God,

Thank you for your Blessings.

Have a good sleep.

Hope you have a good weekend off with a date night.

Have a good Blessing.

Amen

Meet Miss Piper

My Bloggie Friend, Sue, was quick to pick up on the name. Yes, we think we have chosen the name for Baby Sissy ----Piper. We are not 100% positive, but Mike and I are calling her Piper. Harrison is calling her Baby Sissy and, when forced, Avery. Avery was also a name we loved, but when we saw her face she seems more like a Piper to us. We are still working on a middle name.
.
It is very hard picking a name for a child. With Harrison, we did not tell anyone the name until he was born - even our moms! We were going to try to do that again, but I found that I needed to try out the name. Plus, since I am on this uber-girlie roll I think I may need to start monogramming :)
.
So...introducing Piper. This is her 2nd Birthday Party at Philip Hayden House. I cannot wait till she is older and we can save our pennies to travel there together and help the little ones.

Baby Sissy As A Baby

I am a lucky, lucky, momma....look what Emily found for me. I think this one may beat the other picture as the youngest "real life" picture I have of Piper. She looks so happy and I think I see a little piece of candy in her mouth.
.
We are turning up the steam on our Mandarin classes. Yesterday we covered so much material, but it is great usable material. I am so excited to go to China and try to talk to my little girl. Hopefully she understands me. Yesterday in class, I asked if someone wanted to drink a horse.
.
Piper, little do you know that some silly people that live in Georgia are incredibly in love with a set of pictures and stories about you and your life so far. I can only imagine how we will feel once we get to know you. Just like when Harrison was in my tummy, we already know that you are part of our heart without you physically being in our arms. We love you!

A Walk In the Mountains With Drama Mama

Last week, Harrison invited Drama Mama to the Mountains. We had a nice time and the kids had fun - that is, when they are not constantly bickering at each other. The first pictures shows the typical dramatic relationship that these two have. I cannot remember what the problem was - either they didn't want their picture together or they didn't want to sit together. Mama Drama Mama and I know one thing....if these two ever get married there will be TROUBLE!

The pictures above show that Harrison cannot take his eye of of Drama Mama. Harrison was also thrilled that he was standing right at the edge. This picture below makes them look so sweet and they really are - they just have some "domestic troubles" -- ha ha

Hubs has great ideas and this is one of them. He brought one of Harrison's little tables to the mountain house and it turned into the private dining table for The Minnie Mr. and the Drama Mama. The kids loved it and really enjoyed sitting alone and dining. The last day we even moved the table up into the balcony and the kids dined on the "balcony."

Super Boy With A Chainsaw!

When cleaning out our old house to sell, we found Mike's old motocycle helmet. Harrison loves it and since last weekend this is what my boy looks like 75% of the time. Harrison can be crabby, not listen, and hyper, but he is also one of the sweetest people I know. Plus, he is so handsome! I am so incredibly lucky and Piper is going to have a great ge ge ("ga ga").
