The ride to the orphanage and Eagles Wings was hard. The kids were very mellow at first wondering where they were going. The parents were all worried about how the kids would react. After we were underway for a bit, the kids started to light up a bit and have some fun. Piper and Everett are friends from Philip Hayden Foundation and they are having a ball together. They had so much fun playing peek-a-boo over the seat.

No More "Fu" For You!
Fu Qiu Han is no longer a Fu. Mike and I officially adopted her today and she is our child in the eyes of the Chinese government. She will remain a Chinese citizen and travel as Fu Qiu Han until we land in the US. Once we pass through immigration, she will become Piper QiuHan Lanier a United States citizen. We did not keep her last name "Fu" as is it a last name all children in the orphanage is given and the meaning has mixed interpretations. Her orphanage brothers and sisters will always be her siblings in our hearts.
My Kids and Hotel Fun
Ni Hao from Piper and Hi Y'all from Harrison!

Something about this photo below reminds me of sweet Sophie Hindsman.
Harrison's clubhouse that he made in the hotel room.

How sweet it is to see a smile like this....

Brotherly love...

Crawling to get away from her ge ge.

Run and tap my brother...

Run from my brother before he gets me!
Wrapping my wa wa (baby).
Checking out the view.
Piper looking up to her big brother already.

The reviews are right, there is not much to do at the Crowne Plaza. Despite the lack of hotel resources, we have enjoyed playing in the hallways, eating breakfast with the group and just being with each other.
The Minnie moments before he decided he was no longer eating in China.
Piper is napping as I type and the boys are wrestling on the other bed. Piper must be used to a lot of noise because the boys are so silly today!
Army Dillow
Harrison has a stuffed animal that he loves. He named him "Army Dillow," which we think is hilarious. Army was the surprise guest on this trip since I packed him without the Minnie Mr. knowing. He was so excited to see Army Dillow that we had to do a fashion shoot.
Harrison has been an excellent big brother. He has difficult moments, as do we all, but his enthusiasm and sweetness is so precious and appreciated. A moment ago when Piper was having a tough time, he asked if he could pr=ay for her. He and Army told how much they loved Piper and how they want her saddness to go away. He is a sweet boy!

Rub Dub Piper Is In The Tub
We mastered the first bath and I think she had fun. A reserved type of fun, but fun nonetheless. After the bath I blew her hair dry and then we rubbed cream all over her. Daddy loves her belly and semi-outie belly button. Harrison has a semi-outie too! We snapped a few pictures. I love them all, but really love the one where she is looking down after I blew her hair dry. She is so beautiful and tender hearted.
First Family Photo
Excuse my Rudolph nose. It was a casualty of the boo hooing.
P.S. She is asleep now. Hammie was so proud and just came to tell me.
