Secrets....

I have never been good at keeping secrets. Can everyone say a little prayer for China to speed up because I am getting antsy?

Bows for Baby Sissy

My wonderful Secret Pal led me to an incredible bow lady. Well...I visited and I conquered! Turns out the bow lady was having a sample sale and the prices were irresistible. I wanted to keep it under $20 with shipping so take a what I got. I love them all, but I really think that the giraffe one is my favorite. It reminds me of Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom - two of the Minnie Mr's (and his Nanni's) favorite places on earth. I am really crossing my fingers and trying to save my pennies to go to Hong Kong Disney when we go get Baby Sissy!

Baby Sissy Gets International Mail!

The Little Mrs. sent Baby Sissy the most wonderful fabric for her quilt. I love love love love it! Take a good look at the fabric. Do you see all of the beutiful kids that all look different? There is even a little Asian beauty! I absolutely love it and cannot imagine a more perfect fabric. Who would have thought that The Little Mrs. would have been able to find such a wonderful fabric in tiny Tumbarumba. In fact, Miss Lisa said that it was the only girl themed fabric in the entire store in their town - a store that sounds wonderful and reminds me of the town that Mike and I used to live in only better!

My boys look exhaused and tired - in fact the big boy hasn't slept in about 30 hours - but they both wanted to pose for The Little Mrs.

Thank you so much Emma and Lisa (and Ethan and Mat) for the wonderful fabric, amazingly beautiful wish card, and for your friendship. We miss you and think about you guys every day. In fact, I have to post the last picture as a sweet walk down memory lane. I know I have posted it before, but it is one of my favorites!

Ok, and a few more because I just can't help myself!

Secret Pal, You Spoil Me!

My Secret Pal is the best. I mean really the best! Last week I received a surprise package from her filled with things I adore! I had just been admiring bibs of this style and really wanted to get one, but was on my spending prohibition so I withheld. Then, the next day one arrived and it had ladybugs on it! I love the hair bows and immediately visited the site to do some damage. The picture frame is adorable and going in my office and the book is up to Baby Sissy's room for the shelf. Thanks so much. I know that Baby Sissy will love the presents as much as I do.

The First Day of School...

The Minnie Mr. was not overly cooperative for a photo shoot on his first day of school, but he did let me get a few of him. He was thrilled that Mommy surprised him with a hologram Spidy lunch box. When he walked towards the school Harrison moved the lunchbox back and forth to show everyone the hologram.
I cannot believe my little baby is now in 4 year pre-k. He could have gone to "real" school this year for pre-k, but I felt it was very important to let him finish out one more year at Faith. He has had so many changes lately consistency is something we treasure. The first week was a huge success, but school just isn't the same without our sweet Little Mrs.

Happy Birthday "Diddy"

Harrison thinks it is hilarious to call Hubs "Diddy." I think its because the first time that he said it Mike and I both laughed our head off. Well, Diddy turned 37 on Friday. His birthday started with he and Minnie Mr. waking up at the Mtn. House. I called to say happy birthday and he said that waking up snuggling with the Minnie in the cool mountain air was the best birthday present. I then asked - what about your wife? He laughed and said. "Oh ya, oops." What a romantic!
.
Anyway, Mike went to eat with his mom and sisters before heading home. I then got to run home for an hour to see him before he had to leave for night shift. The Minnie Mr. and I got him a Scoobie Doo balloon, cookie cake, deep tissue massage and cards. The cards were what really got him. This was the first year that he had two cards from his kiddos: One from the Minnie Mr. and one from Baby Sissy. This is what Baby's Sissy's card said:
.
Daddy,
.
I know I haven't met you, but Mommy tells God, who tells me, that you are the best Daddy in the world. I love you already!
.
Love,
Baby Sissy
.
Needless to say, The Diddy barely made it through the card and was using it to fan his eyes at the end. Score one for Mommy, Minnie Mr. & Baby Sissy!!!!!
.
Oh, and Pa totally trumped our gift by giving Hubs a gift certificate for 2 full body massages and one facial at our favorite local spa. Hubs would probably be embarrassed if he know I posted about this, but I have turned him into a "spa man." He completely loves it and just like me - always wants to show up early for a little extra time in the "calming room."
Happy Birthday Hubs!
.
P.S. The crazy hubs picture was taken at his twin brother's graduation from college last month.

Baby Sissy wants to be like Sophie!

Yesterday at Mandarin Class, Little Sophie had cute fancy bloomers on with her name monogrammed on them. I will definately have to get some of those for Baby Sissy! In the meantime, I found these on clearance at Target for under a $1 a pair. Lets hope they fit....I am not too sure!
