After endless hours reading the blogs of other families, I am going to give this a whirl and see if I can do it. I am hoping that it will be a great way to pass the time as we wait to add to our family with a sibling for our son. He is 3 and is eagerly wanting to know when his baby sister from China is coming. Guess we shouldn't have told him with the wait nearing 3 years. Oh well, we will know better next time!
If you are asking yourself what the picture is of...It is our "paperchase" for our adoption. To adopt from China, you must gather many documents, have them notarized, attested by the County Clerk of Court, attested by the Georgia Secretary of State, and then, attested by the Chinese Consulate in Houston. After all this we gather the documents and our adoption agency binds them into a book, translates them, and sends it to CCAA - the Chinese Agency governing adoptions. It was a long and stressful process, but we know that it will pay off in the long run!
