Travel Plans

Unfortunately, our Consulate Appointment confirmation did not arrive today so we could not book our flights. Don't you just love it when after China is so slow with the process that in the end the US Consulate is the hold up? Uggggh!
.
Needless to say, I am fretting about flight options. Our plan is to leave Monday.....yup, Monday. I fear what our tickets will cost with under 7 days notice. In fact, they have already gone up $300 per ticket from last night.
.
On suitecase is packed and weighed. Hubs loved that I got to hold the suitcase on the scale so he could see exactly what I weigh. He really is a mean old man. The other suitcases are really a work in progress. It is amazing how hard it is to pack for almost 3 weeks of hotel living!

I don't know you well enough to tell you this, but...
book your flights anyway!
Maybe inquire about change fees, and you could save more by paying change fees if your agency really won't let you leave... than it would cost you to wait and book them in less than 7 days before departure... just a thought ;)
fingers crossed for you!

I wish I was home so I had more time to email you to help you out! I can't wait for you to be able to meet Piper. :-)

We didn't take much to China this time, as we've been twice already. But also, we've been in Guangzhou the entire time, all three times, and you can get anything you need in GZ.

Hey, we'll be at the consulate tomorrow. Do you want me to have a few words with them while we're there? ;-)

Oh Ashley, I am so sorry! That just STINKS!!!! Our LOA took 6 months. I just don't get it. But we have to believe there is a good reason hidden somewhere that will surface later. But it still STINKS! Praying your CA comes SOON!

Hang in there!

Hugs to you!!!
