We made it to Zhengzhou after a 2 hour delay with our flight. The flight was not good, but Mandie's mom, Mona, was great at distracting me. Towards the end when things got bad, I told her that I could no longer talk and she was in charge of Harrison. The smog was so bad that you couldn't see the ground and we were fishtailing into the landing. Finally we landed, gave thanks, and entered the FREEZING airport.
The hotel here (Crowne Plaza) is stunning and I love our room. When I walked in, my breath was taken away. A crib for Piper is set up. The room is gorgeous and tomorrow I will have two children in my arms. I won't lie...I am a bit scared, but I am also ready for this wonderful chapter of our lives to unfold. While the journey to this trip has been emotional and so much more difficult than pregnancy, the moment we stepped onto the plane everything has been such a joy.
Tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. (9 p.m. est) we meet Piper. I am excited and nervous. The boys are already asleep and I am unpacking and getting her items ready. Unfortunately my new Nikon camera fell down the Great Wall and broke. It is just one thing after another with me and luck on this trip, but I am trying to not get too upset. Hopefully the lobby has some disposables. If not, one of Rivers' sisters said I could use their camera. They are so sweet.

Here are a few pictures that I could get of the room that worked. Please pra*y for us this evening, which will be our morning. Please ask that Qiu Han will be comforted and not so frightened, that we can fulfill her needs and she ours, that Jenny will find peace with "loosing" so many children today (5), and that Harrison understands that while he will be the one that we have loved the longest, our love for Piper is equal and just as breathtaking.
P.S. Sorry the photos are out of focus. The camera is technically still taking photos, but only with the zoom and no flash.
